DISCO Internship Recruitment Program

After document screening, shortlisted students will be notified via email for an interview with the department chair. Final selection results will be announced after the interview.

Selected students will then undergo an additional interview with DISCO. We encourage all eligible students to seize this valuable learning opportunity!


1. Objective

To cultivate practical expertise and improve professional skills among NCCU Department of Japanese students, DISCO Hi-Tec Inc. invites the department to recommend suitable candidates for internship placement.


2. Internship Details

  • Period: January 12 – March 27, 2026

  • Weekly Hours: 24 hours or more (negotiable)

  • Location: 9F, No. 188, Baoqiao Road, Xindian District, New Taipei City

  • Department: Business Support


3. Job Responsibilities

  • Chinese–Japanese Translation: Internal documents and videos

  • Support Company Projects: Assist in planning and organizing corporate activities

  • Administrative Assistance: HR support, office administration, and other assistant duties

  • Proposal Development: Internal improvement proposals, HR-related project planning


4. Learning Components

  • Overview of the semiconductor industry

  • Corporate culture activities

  • Professional etiquette and work methods

  • Presentation of implemented improvement proposals


5. Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Wage: NT$200/hour

  • Additional Benefits:

    • Bi-monthly group meal subsidy of NT$700

    • Full reimbursement for business travel expenses (high-speed rail, taxi, MRT, etc.)

  • Outstanding interns may have the opportunity to be hired as full-time employees or extend the internship


6. Recruitment Requirements

  • University students in year 3 or above

  • Japanese proficiency: JLPT N2 or equivalent

  • Personal qualities: proactive, creative, enjoys challenges, detail-oriented, responsible


7. Expected Outcomes for Students

Through this internship, students will:

  • Gain early exposure to a professional work environment

  • Improve translation, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

  • Develop awareness and the ability to propose improvements

  • Acquire practical experience and knowledge in the semiconductor industry, broadening learning horizons
