Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must be:
① Undergraduate students in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year in the Department;
② Double-major students who have completed at least 16 required credits in the Department (excluding transferred credits);
③ Master's program students in their 1st or 2nd year.
Returning students in their 5th undergraduate year or 3rd master's year after studying in Japan for one year.
A conduct grade of A and a GPA of 80 or above in the previous semester, with no failing grades.
Active participation in international exchange activities, Japanese-related competitions (on or off campus), or outstanding service contributions.
Must be enrolled in courses offered by the Department in the previous semester.
Ineligible Applicants:
Those who are scheduled to study abroad for over one month during the scholarship period.
Those with full-time employment income at the time of selection.
Those with full-time employment income during the scholarship period.
Required Application Documents (submit hard copies to the Department Office by the application deadline):
Scholarship application form (see attachment).
Official transcript of all academic records.
Undergraduate students: a study plan for the scholarship period.
Master’s students: a research plan plus three course reports.
Other supporting documents for review (e.g., language proficiency certificates, volunteer service proof, award certificates, etc.).
