For this special academic event, the NCCU Department of Japanese Studies was honored to invite Professor Toshiyuki Sadanobu from Kyoto University to deliver a guest lecture. During the 120-minute session, Professor Sadanobu provided a detailed and insightful explanation of how Japanese speakers conceptualize "time and space" in their minds and how these concepts are reflected in daily language use. The lecture concluded with a highly enthusiastic Q&A session, where faculty and students from both inside and outside NCCU actively engaged with the speaker, making it an incredibly rewarding experience for all attendees.
