To deepen mutual understanding and foster long-term friendships between the younger generations of Taiwan and Japan, the "35th Japan University Student Delegation to Taiwan"—jointly organized by Japan Airlines (JAL) and the Japan-Taiwan Youth Exchange Association—visited the Department of Japanese at National Chengchi University (NCCU) on March 5. This year’s delegation brought together 10 outstanding Japanese students from prestigious institutions, including Waseda University, Tokyo International University, Nihon University, Utsunomiya University, Toyo University, Dokkyo University, Tokyo University of Industry, Kyoto Sangyo University, and Kansai Gaidai University. They engaged in deep cultural exchanges with 15 student representatives from our department. During the visit, the delegation toured the Chi-Tao Building, which is beautifully nestled in the campus's lush natural surroundings. Through breakout group discussions and interactive activities, Taiwanese and Japanese students enjoyed rare face-to-face dialogues, sharing their campus lives and unique cultural experiences in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that further solidified the bilateral ties.
