Our department was deeply honored to welcome faculty and students from Hokusei Gakuen University, who traveled all the way from Hokkaido to join us for a memorable cross-cultural exchange. This event provided a wonderful platform for students from both universities to interact face-to-face and deepen their mutual understanding. The exchange was conducted in small groups to cultivate a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The discussion topics were incredibly diverse: while some groups shared details about their respective campus lives, others dove into complex social and political issues. A few groups even took a casual stroll around our campus while chatting, naturally closing the distance between them through spontaneous interaction. Although the time together was brief, the enthusiasm in the room was palpable, with many participants wishing they had more time to continue their conversations. The event concluded with a cheerful group photo, marking the friendly bonds built in a short time. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the teachers and students of Hokusei Gakuen University for visiting NCCU, and we look forward to future opportunities to further deepen our exchange and partnership.
