Our department has invited Professor Yoko Nakai, who currently teaches at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and serves as a professor at the Graduate School of Global Japanese Studies, to give an academic lecture to our students. Professor Nakai specializes in linguistics and conversation data analysis. Under the theme "Interaction Competence as Seen from Conversation Data Analysis: Focusing on Japanese Conversations Involving Chinese Speakers," this lecture will explore interaction and communication competence observed from conversation data analysis, with a specific focus on Japanese conversations involving Chinese speakers.
