1. When selecting sourses, students are advised not to focus solely on the course catefories, such as "required" or "program-specific" courses. Instead, attention should be given to the specific courses that must be completed in order to meet graduation requirements.

If a course is listed as a "required" or "program-specific required" course in the curriculum for your year of admission, it means you must take and complete that course in order to graduate.
Conversely, if the course does not appear on the list, it is considered elective and may be taken at your discretion.
2. Starting from the 2018 academic year (Academic Year 107), the "Foreign Graduation Requirement" had been officially abolished.
Nevertheless, students are stronly encouraged to obtain JLPT N1 or N2 certification before graduation.

3.The implementation guidelines for the :Service-Learning and Practical Courses" at National ChengChi University were officially repealed starting from the 2020 academic year (Academic Year 109).
The proposal to abolish the zero-credit service-learning courses was approved during the 205th University Affairs Meeting on September 5, 2019.
As a result , Service-Learning courses are no longer classified as university- wide required courses.
They have been restructed as college- or department-specific courses, with relevant implementation measure approved at the first Academic Affairs Meeing of the second semester of the 2019-2020 academic year, held on March 30, 2020.
The repealed guidelines previously applied to the university-required "Service-Learning Courses," and they remained in effect only until the end of the 2019 acadamic year (Academic Year 108). The new policy has been in effect since the 2020 academic year (Academic Year 109).
4. Attention for Exchange Students:
If you plan to graduate in the same semester that your exchange program ends, please make sure to complete the following procedures within the specified deadlines to avoid any delays in your graduation schedule:
① Complete the credit transfer process before the one-third tuition refund deadline of the following semester.
